The method involves viewing a portal for accessing a service hosted on a server (4) through a browser, and requesting a user authentication through the browser via the portal. A pre-session is initiated to display temporary access data e.g. identifier (5), independent of a user (1). The viewed data is input to a cellular telephone (2), and a request (6) is automatically sent to the server. The request is encrypted by a public key of a certificate (8) of the server, and access to the service is authorized through a secured session in the browser in the event of authentication of the user.
