The support unit has a main buoy rope (2) extending from a mooring (1), where the buoy rope has mounting points (4) on which chains (3) are fixed. An energy recovery device is attached on the chains, where the chains are connected with respect to each other so as to form a frame. An electric case has an electric cable that is used to transport electricity produced by the energy recovery device. The fixation unit has a stuffed buoy with a floater that ensures buoyancy of the stuffed buoy. An independent claim is also included for an energy recovery system comprising an energy recovery device.
