The present invention concerns a purification device (1) and method for the treatment of a flow of liquids by laser, including at least one treatment vessel (2) with at least one inlet and outlet, at least one first laser unit (13), at least one second laser unit (14) and at least one control system, whose first laser unit (13) emits at least one first laser beam (15) and that the second laser unit (14) emits at least one second laser beam (16), whose laser beams (15) and (16) are emitted essentially opposite each other in the treatment vessel's (2) inner chamber (3). The present invention's unique feature is that the treatment vessel (2) is spherically shaped and that the first laser unit (13) alternately creates positive ions and negative ions in the fluid and that the second laser unit (14) alternately creates negative ions and positive ions in the fluid. Further, the fluid is subjected to irradiation by at least one first laser beam (15) and at least one second laser beam (16) which are placed essentially opposite each other and are essentially directed toward each other. |
