<p>Disclosed are a distributed system and method for sharing earnings using a widget. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the distributed system for sharing earnings using the widget comprises: a widget service system which generates a widget including an intrinsic widget code from an advertisement; an advertiser system which transmits the advertisement to the widget service system; and an advertisement host system which receives the widget transmitted from the widget service system to upload the widget on a web page over the Internet, and calculates the number of exposure times of the widget as a user visiting the web page uses the widget, the number of clicks, and the purchase volume information of products using the widget, and then transmits the calculated data to the widget service system, wherein: the widget service system generates statistical data on the advertising results of the widget by using the number of exposure times of the widget, the number of clicks, and the purchase volume information of products using the widget, and calculates earnings generated from the widget; the advertiser system receives the statistical data transmitted from the widget service system; and the advertisement host system receives the calculated earnings on the widget from the widget service system.</p> |
