Provided is a mobile communication system, wherein when a base station device and a mobile station device perform communication in a wide frequency band using a plurality of component carriers in a combined manner, the base station device can efficiently perform scheduling of a downlink for the mobile station device. The base station device sets a specific uplink component carrier for the mobile station device to transmit periodic channel state information for the mobile station device and instructs the mobile station device to transmit nonperiodic channel state information in an uplink component carrier that is the same as or different from the specific uplink component carrier. When the transmission of the periodic channel state information and the transmission of the nonperiodic channel state information occur in the same sub-frame, the mobile station device transmits both the periodic channel state information and the nonperiodic channel state information to the base station device.
