PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation part 103 which can adequately notify users of the status information of other devices connected to an operation device, using a non-tab display region among a tab display screen in which the number of tabs may vary according to a function.SOLUTION: The operation part 103 includes: a tab item display means 503 for displaying tab items corresponding to specific functions respectively to a display region having the same number of tabs as the number of tab items; a status information acquiring means 506 for acquiring the status information of a device executing a specific function; a non-tab display region determining means 509 for determining whether there is a non-tab display region or not, based on the information identifying a tab display screen displaying a predetermined number of tabs and the status information; a status information converting means 511 for converting the status information into tab-type status information if there is a non-tab display region; and a status information display means 512 for displaying the converted tab-type status information on the non-tab display region.
