PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote input device excellent in input operability by suppressing an operating knob from being deviated toward an adjacent selection button at knob press-down operation.SOLUTION: The remote input device includes a remote operation unit 100 including an input switch 190, an X-axis encoder 170 and a Y-axis encoder 175 to function as position detection units, and an X-axis motor 150 and a Y-axis motor 155 to function as two-dimensional drive units so as to perform remote input operation by means of a displayed pointer, a display unit 300 for displaying a selection button selected by means of the pointer to perform determination operation, and a control ECU 200 including a drive unit 201 for applying a reactive force based on a kinesthetic pattern corresponding to coordinates of the selection button on the display unit 300 and positional coordinates of the pointer to the remote operation unit 100 as kinesthetic and an adjustment unit 202 for applying kinesthetic by gradually changing the kinesthetic pattern corresponding to the coordinates of the selection button based on a plurality of detection signals of the input switch 190 and adjusting the reactive force applied to the remote operation unit 100. |
