PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner and the air cleaner including a humidifying function capable of increasing generation of a component with high oxidation power and stably operable, in regard to a device enabling sterilization, deodorization and removal of hazardous substances by emitting water particles with high oxidation power.SOLUTION: The air cleaner includes: a body 4 having a plurality of air suction ports 1, 2 and a blowout port 3; and an air purification filter 6, a fan 7 as an air blowing means and an electrostatic spraying means 8 emitting water condensed in an electrode 10 to the air as minute water particles including radicals and ions etc. with high oxidation power by discharge, which are provided within an air course communicating the suction ports 1, 2 and the blowout port 3. The electrostatic spraying means 8 includes: a Peltier element 9; the electrode 10 brought into contact with a cooling face of the Peltier element 9; and a heat radiation fin 11 brought into contact with the heat radiation face. Air amount made to pass through the heat radiation fin 11 of the electrostatic spraying means 8 is set larger than air amount made to pass through the electrode 10, so as to achieve the intended purpose. |
