A dual clutch for coupling an engine-side input shaft (12) with a first transmission-side output shaft (14) and/or a second transmission-side output shaft (16) comprises a first clutch (18) which has a first contact plate (24) that is axially mobile relative to a first counter plate (22) for coupling with a first clutch disk (26) connected to the first output shaft (14). The dual clutch further comprises a second clutch (20) having a second contact plate (34) for coupling with a second clutch disk (36) connected to the second output shaft (16), said second contact plate being axially mobile relative to a second counter-plate (32). Additionally, the dual clutch comprises an actuating device (42) for displacing the first contact plate (24) and/or the second contact plate (34), a spring element, especially a flexplate (86), being connected to the actuating device (42) and being designed to be connected to a transmission housing, the spring element (86) being resilient in the axial direction. According to the invention, both the actuating device and the first counter-plate are radially supported so as to be mobile in the axial direction. The axial mobility of the dual clutch allows a simple assembly even with components that have work tolerance-related finishing inaccuracies.
