<p>The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for implementing call hold in Click To Dial (CTD) call service, and said method includes: when receiving a call request which is initiated by a third party for calling some present call terminal, a CTD application server notifies a CTD Web server, and after acquiring an indication message which is fed back by the CTD Web server for holding the present call and answering the third party call, the CTD application server sets the terminal which communicates with the present called terminal in call hold state and performs session bridge connection between the present called terminal and the third party. Said apparatus includes a call request reception unit, an operation instruction acquisition unit and a call hold performance unit. Said method of the present invention implements the call hold function by the CTD call service, the implementation of which is independent of terminals, and thus eliminating requirements of the call hold service for terminals.</p> |
