The device (5) has connection units for connecting a return pipe portion and a flow pipe portion with a return pipe (3) and a flow pipe (4) of a solar system (1), respectively. Inlets (13, 14) partly run into a housing from the return pipe portion to a solar heat collector (2). Return lines (15, 16) partly run into the housing from the collector to the flow pipe portion. Shutoff valves are arranged at the housing and installed in the inlets and/or the return lines. Multiple control valves are arranged at the housing and/or installed in the return lines and the inlets. An independent claim is also included for a solar system comprising two solar heat collectors with a return pipe.
