PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation method and a separation device that continuously and stably separates a low-release-strength film from a film laminate such that an adhesive layer does no remain on the low-release-strength film.SOLUTION: Tension control is performed as follows: the tension of a conveyed low-release-strength film 31 is always kept constant (tension control) by adjusting the rotation speed of a nip roller forming a second nip unit 2 and the tension of a conveyed high-release-strength film 32 is kept always constant (tension control) by adjusting the rotation speed of a nip roller forming a third nip unit 3. A film laminate 30 is continually output from a first nip unit 1 and the low-release-strength film 31 and the high-release-strength film 32 are continually conveyed at the tension. As a result, the low-release-strength film 31 is continuously and stably separated from the film laminate 30 at a separation roller 4. |
