PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector for a flat conductor capable of miniaturizing the electric connector as well as a terminal while the terminal has a plurality of contact sections in order to secure certainty and stability of contact with the flat conductor.SOLUTION: At least a part of the terminals 20 among the plurality of the terminals 20 have the front contact section 25A and the rear contact section 26A to be in contact with a lower surface of the flat conductor F, and an extended arm section 22 extended in a cross direction at a position further separated from the flat conductor F than the front contact section 25A and the rear contact section 26A at a lower surface side of the flat conductor F in a vertical direction. The front contact section 25A and the rear contact section 26A are respectively arranged at different positions in the cross direction, the rear contact section 26A formed on the tip of a flexible rear contact arm section 26 extended from the extended arm section 22 to the front contact section 25A, and a pressure member 30 mounted on a housing 10 presses down the flat conductor F to the front contact section 25A and the rear contact section 26A. |
