METHOD, EVOLVED NODE-B AND HOME GATEWAY FOR PERFORMING HANDOVER PROCESS FOR TERMINALS

A method, an evolved Node-B (eNB) and a home gateway for handover are provided in the present invention which is related to the technical filed of communications. The method includes the following steps: an eNB determines that a User Equipment (UE) is handed over from a first Relay Station (RS) under the eNB to said eNB or a second RS under said eNB (S3 la); and the eNB sends a UE context release command to the first RS without sending a handover notification to a core network device (S32a). By applying the aforementioned technical solution, the terminal handover flow in relay network can be simplified during the UE handover procedure.
