PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a waste of an amount of transmission data, to increase a degree of freedom of an imaging portion installation position, and to provide an advantage in terms of the protection of the privacy of an object to be imaged.SOLUTION: Video data of the object to be imaged such as a person or thing, that an imaging portion 2 photographs and data on a distance from the imaging portion 2 to the object to be imaged that a distance measurement portion 3 measures are transmitted to an image processing portion 5 which uses, as a reference value, a resolution of the object to be imaged at a distance of a predetermined region in the video data to perform resolution change processing to change the whole video data to a resolution equal to the reference value, and the image processing portion 5 transmits the video data having been subjected to the resolution change processing to a display device 6 in a remote place. |
