PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint easily and rapidly connecting a female member to a male member in a stopped and sealed state without using a nut (pressing ring) as in a conventional pipe joint.SOLUTION: The pipe joint includes: the female member 2 having a socket portion 10; the male member 1 having an insert-side tip portion 5 to be inserted to the socket portion; a seal ring 4 interposed between the socket portion 10 and the insert-side tip portion 5; and a stopper ring 3. A stopping groove 7 is provided on the outer periphery of the tip portion 5. A stopper ring receiving recessed groove 11 is provided on the outer periphery of the socket portion 10, and a claw insert hole 12 is provided in the groove bottom thereof. The stopper ring 3 includes a plurality of inwardly protruding stopping claws 9 on the inner periphery, and is fitted into the recessed groove 11, and tip portions 9a of the sopping claws 9 are protruded into the socket portion 10 through the claw insert hole 12 and engaged with the stopping groove 7. The seal ring is received in a seal ring receiving recessed groove at the back within the socket portion of the female member, and the top end surface of the insert-side tip portion of the male member is closely fitted thereto. |
