PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact device in which a stable arc cut-off performance can be obtained and size reduction is attained.SOLUTION: The contact device is provided with a contact block 3, consisting of a pair of fixed terminals 33 having a fixed contact 32 and a movable contactor 35 on which a pair of movable contacts 34 to contact and separate, respectively from the pair of fixed contracts 32 are installed on one face; a drive block consisting of an electromagnet block 2 and a movable shaft 5 to drive the movable contactor 35 so that the movable contacts 34 may contact and separate from the fixed contacts 32; and a pair of permanent magnets 46, which are installed mutually facing via the contact block 3 in the arrangement direction of the movable contacts 34 and of which each polarity of the mutually opposed face is of different polarity, and a first yoke 52 which is arranged between the pair of permanent magnets 46. |
