PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an echo canceler capable of generating false echo components to be removed from voice collected by a microphone, even when the sound emission side and the sound collection side are not in the same system.SOLUTION: A modulation unit 23 of a sound emission device 2 superposes timing information (for example, information showing elapse of time from start of playback), and content information (information unique to every content such as a music name, a singer's name) on an audio signal. In a superposition system, phase modulation by, for example, a diffusion code is used. A demodulation unit 11 of the sound collection device 1 calculates a correlation value between the audio signal and the diffusion code to demodulate the timing information and the content information. A content data receiving unit 13 receives content data from a content server 4 by the demodulated content information and outputs the audio signal to an echo cancellation unit 12 based on the timing information. A false echo generation unit 121 generates a false echo using the input audio signal as a reference signal to be removed from the audio signal. |
