PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new ligand composite effectively usable for analyzing functions of a protein, a ligand carrier and a method for analyzing a protein.SOLUTION: A linker compound includes a structure expressed by formula (1) (wherein p and q are each an integer of ≥0 and ≤6; X comprises a structure having an end aromatic amino group together with one, two or three hydrocarbon derivative chains where a principal chain may have a carbon-nitrogen bond; Y comprises a hydrocarbon structure containing a sulfur atom; and Z comprises a linear chain structure having a carbon-carbon bond or carbon-oxygen bond). The ligand composite has a structure of binding the linker compound with a reducing end-having sugar through the aromatic amino group.
