PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for evaluating a chlorine resistance of a polymer material, capable of accurately evaluating the chlorine resistance of the polymer material, by executing a test quantitatively and continuously without directly measuring the polymer material.SOLUTION: In this chlorine resistance evaluation method of the polymer material, the polymer material 13 is immersed into a chlorine-based aqueous solution 11 having a prescribed concentration in the stored state into a storage part 2 having a prescribed volume, and the aqueous solution 11 in the storage part 2 is replaced at every prescribed time, and a free residual chlorine concentration is measured continuously by a detection unit 3 relative to each aqueous solution 11 after being replaced, and the chlorine resistance of the polymer material 13 is evaluated from the measurement results. |
