PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard apparatus capable of enhancing the return capability of hammers on key release to improve capability of repeated key striking, and capable of reducing a height size of action mechanism to make the keyboard apparatus compact.SOLUTION: The hammer HM includes a butt 40 and a hammer shank 43. The butt 40 includes a base 42 and a striking section 41. The butt 40 is arranged so as to be freely rotated with a hammer rotation shaft Fh as a center, at a butt flange 28 which is fixed to a center rail 23. The hammer shank 43 which is formed like a straight rod, extending forward from the base 42 of the batt 40, obliquely extends downward, as it goes to a free end section 43b, in a non-key-depression state. When viewed from side, a straight line Lh passing though a gravity center position CG of the hammer and the hammer rotation shaft Fh forms an acute angle θh less than 45 degrees relative to a horizontal plane 48 in the entirety of a key stroke and key release. |
