PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrotreating device which can ensure a stable hydrogen treatment performance even if various kinds of gas flows appear inside a reactor containment vessel in a catalytic hydrotreating device which treats hydrogen in the reactor containment vessel.SOLUTION: The catalytic hydrotreating device 10 for treating a hydrogen gas in the reactor containment vessel 11 includes a catalyst 2 that reacts with the hydrogen gas and a catalyst housing container 8 for accommodating the catalyst 2. The catalyst housing container 8 includes an upper opening 1 and a lower opening 3 and the problem is solved by setting up members 4 in which the areas of the upper opening 1 where the gases pass vary according to the positions.
