Power savings can be achieved by changing the communication speeds of wireless communications according to data. An input means (1a) receives input data. A priority level determining means (1b) determines the priority level of the data received by the input means (1a). A speed control means (1c) establishes a communication speed of wireless communication for the data, which is to be output from an output means (1d), in accordance with the priority level of the data determined by the priority level determining means (1b). When no data reception is detected, the speed control means (1c) sets the communication speed of wireless communication for the data, which is to be output from the output means (1d), to be lower than when a data reception is detected. The output means (1d) outputs, via wireless communication, the output data at the established communication speed.
