The circuit (12) has a coolant flow path and a latent heat storage (14) that is loaded with coolant (16) by heat exchange, where stored energy of the latent heat storage is delivered for heating the coolant. The latent heat storage is associated with a heater (32), which is controlled by a controller (36) based on operating condition of a combustion engine (1) to actively load the latent heat storage. A heat exchanger (26) of an air conditioning apparatus is provided in a downstream of the latent heat storage. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a refrigerant circuit of a drive.
