<p>Disclosed are: a reagent for assaying anti-Treponema pallidum antibody using a polypeptide antigen, by which anti-Treponema pallidum antibody can be highly sensitively and highly specifically assayed; and an assay method which uses the reagent for assaying anti-Treponema pallidum antibody. Specifically disclosed is a reagent for assaying anti-Treponema pallidum antibody, which utilizes an antigen-antibody reaction. The reagent for assaying anti-Treponema pallidum antibody is characterized in that a recombinant polypeptide, which comprises at least the domain C and the domain D but does not comprises the domain A1 of Treponema pallidum 47kDa antigen, is used as an antigen.</p> |
