PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an axial dimension, and to secure a wide indoor space by changing the arrangement of a terminal box for storing a motive power line in an in-wheel motor drive device in which a motor for rotating and driving a motor side rotation member, a speed reduction part for reducing the rotation of the motor side rotation member and transmitting it to a wheel side rotation member and a wheel hub bearing fixed and connected to the wheel side rotation member are arranged in series from an in-board side to an out-board side of the vehicle.SOLUTION: The terminal box 62 of the motive power line 61 for feeding electric power to the motor A is arranged on an end surface at the out-board side of a housing 22a for holding the motor A or an outer peripheral surface at the out-board side, and the axial dimension is shortened by an amount of the external box 62 to secure the indoor space wide by the amount. |
