PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of connecting a resin pipe to a joint facilitating confirmation of whether the resin pipe is inserted fully to a set insertion length and provides satisfactory insertion work efficiency.SOLUTION: When connecting the resin pipe 15 to the resin pipe joint 10 including a joint body 12 having an inner cylindrical portion 18, an outer member 42 having an outer cylindrical portion 44, and a stopper ring 26 stopping the resin pipe 15 by biting action to the resin pipe 15, the outer member 42 is preliminarily assembled to the resin pipe 15 in a state of being separated from the joint body 12, and the resin pipe 15 is fitted onto the inner cylindrical portion 18 while fixing the outer member 42 to the joint body 12 in this state, whereby the resin pipe 15 is connected to the joint. |
