PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform line thinning processing, while maintaining apparent thickness difference of a line width, without impairing the image quality.SOLUTION: An image processing section 100 includes an edge extracting section 120 for detecting whether a pixel of interest C is a contour pixel; and a line thinning processing section 130 for detecting the line width of a drawing including the pixel of interest C, setting a line thinning structure signal ThinLine[ch] to the pixel of interest C, according to the detected line width; holding correspondence information making the line thinning structure signal ThinLine[ch] correspond to line thinning strength coefficients FTVL, BYVL, and applying line thinning processing, by using a correction value dST[ch] calculated, based on the line thinning structure signal ThinLine[ch] and the correspondence information. |
