PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production device for reducing a load on a work in changing the size of an absorbing body.SOLUTION: The device produces the absorbing body by supplying a raw material for an absorbing body from a duct disposed at a predetermined position, based on a synchronization signal that is repeatedly output and uses a unit movement amount that corresponds to a product pitch as one unit, and depositing the raw material for an absorbing body in intermittently provided depressions. The device includes: a first signal generating unit 35L that repeatedly generates a first rotation angle signal using the rotation angle of a drum that corresponds to the first pitch as one unit, based on the drum rotation; a second signal generating unit 35M that repeatedly generates a second rotation angle signal using the rotation angle that corresponds to the second pitch as one unit, based on the drum rotation; and a controller 60 that controls the drive and rotation of a drive source. When the placement pitch is set at the first pitch, the controller controls the drive and rotation of the drive source, based on the first rotation angle signal and the synchronization signal. When the placement pitch is set at the second pitch, the controller controls the drive and rotation of the drive source, based on the second rotation angle signal and the synchronization signal. |
