PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure good sensor characteristic by limiting a pressurizing and securing force of a pressurizing and securing member against a magnetostriction member to such degree as not causes plastic deformation when pressurizing and securing the magnetostriction member against an object to be detected using the pressurizing and securing member.SOLUTION: The magnetostriction force sensor, sensing a force acting on an object 10 to be detected based on the change in magnetic flux leakage from a magnetostriction member 20 secured to the object 10 to be detected, includes pressurizing and securing members 30 and 30 for pressurizing and securing the magnetostriction member 20 to the object 10 to be detected and a pressurizing force limiting member 40 which limits a pressurizing force on the megnetostriction member 20 by the pressurizing and securing members 30 and 30 to such a degree as not causes plastic deformation at the magnetostriction member 20. |
