PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary roller reduction gear as a versatile reduction gear in which sliding abrasion by deformation of an inner roller in driving rotation is reduced or eliminated, and transmission friction loss is reduced.SOLUTION: The planetary roller reduction gear is constituted by a sun roller integral with an input shaft, an inner roller slidably fastened by a casing on both side surfaces, and a plurality of planetary rollers rotatably supported by a carrier pin fixed on a carrier integrated with an output shaft, with the respective rollers circumscribed or inscribed in a preloaded state. An inner roller locking means is constituted by a hole provided on one side of the casing, an inner ring having a through-hole with the same diameter, two stopper pins having a diameter slidable with the through-hole and having a tapered surface on one side, and an elastic body pressing the back side thereof. Two of the stopper pins are provided for each of the through-holes, and one side stopper pin is fixed on the casing so that the tapered surfaces abut and the surface faces the center of the inner roller, and the elastic body is provided between the other end surface and the opposed casing. Thus, the inner roller locking means is prepared. |
