PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure stability of staple processing while restraining an operation sound.SOLUTION: The postprocessing device include a bundle forming part for forming a bundle by superposing a plurality of recording media, a stapler having a motor and performing staple operation for inserting a staple needle into the bundle and bending the staple needle by driving force by rotation of the motor, an electric power supply part for supplying electric power to the motor, a determining part for determining which of a plurality of image forming devices mutually different in productivity an image forming device corresponds to, and a supply electric power control part for enabling the electric power supply part to supply electric power corresponding to a discriminating result by the discriminating part toward the motor. |
