PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer-vehicle sound providing device capable of improving a sense of unity of outside and inside of a vehicle.SOLUTION: This outer-vehicle sound providing device 10 includes an infrared camera 11 for taking an image outside a vehicle, a human detecting part 18 for detecting a heat source having a certain size as a human from the image of the infrared camera 11, a directional microphone 12 for collecting the sounds outside the vehicle, a sound collection direction deciding part 19 for detecting an area except for a roadway from the image taken by the infrared camera 11, finding a target area, in which the sounds are to be collected based on detection results of the human, from the area except for the roadway, and deciding a direction of the target area as a sound collecting direction, a directional microphone control part 20 for directing the directional microphone to the sound collecting direction, and a loudspeaker 13 for outputting the sounds collected by the directional microphone to the inside of the vehicle. |
