PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminator which permits the partitioning mode of a partition plate to be changed.SOLUTION: The illuminator has a light-emitting unit in which a plurality of light emitters are arranged, a support having an opening portion penetrating in the anteroposterior direction, a partition plate partitioning the opening portion, and a slide supporting portion slidably supporting the partition plate. The light-emitting unit is attached to the back of the support and the light emitters illuminate the front from the opening portion. The partition plate is provided with supported pieces projecting outward of the opening portion when partitioning the opening portion. The slide supporting portion includes a receiving portion formed in the vicinity of the front side opening brim of the opening portion in the support and a holding frame to be attached to the receiving portion. A sliding gap is formed between the receiving portion and the holding frame, and both support the supported pieces so as to permit them to slide along the sliding gap. As the supported pieces slide along the sliding gap, areas of the opening portion partitioned by the partition plate are changed. The receiving portion is provided with engagingly stopping portions which engagingly stop the partition plate in the positions partitioning the light emitters. |
