PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar system detecting a relative speed of a target over a wide range without generating uncertainty.SOLUTION: The marine radar system has: a signal generation part; a transmission timing control part; a correlation processing part; and a speed detection part. The signal generating part generates a transmission pulse signal. The transmission timing control part controls transmission timing so that transmission intervals between a predetermined amount of continuous transmission pulse signals may be different from each other. The correlation processing part performs correlation processing between a waveform of a transmission pulse signal and a waveform of received signal reflected on the target. The speed detection part detects a speed of the target, based on correlation processing results to a plurality of pulse signals transmitted at different transmission intervals.
