PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive shift and shaft (S&S) assembly, attaining both of a select operation restriction function and a select operational ability adjustment function.SOLUTION: On an outer face of a cam plate 50 fixed to a side face of an S&S shaft 20, cam-curved faces P are formed to be inclined with respect to a select direction. The cam-curved faces P are constantly pressed to the radially inside by a tip of a pressing pin. The pressing pin is movable only in a radial direction of the S&S shaft 20 in a case of a manual transmission, and is urged radially inside by an elastic force. Projections 51 projected radially outside of the S&S shaft 20 are respectively formed, at locations on the neighboring cam-curved faces P on both sides in the select direction with respect to pressing positions of the pressing pin on the cam-curved faces P corresponding to each shift completion state. Both of the functions are attained by a detent force generated by a pressing force of the pressing pin with respect to the cam-curved faces P. |
