PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device capable of efficiently radiating heat generated from an organic EL element.SOLUTION: The light-emitting device includes a light-transmitting substrate 10, the organic EL element 20 formed on one surface side of the light-transmitting substrate 10, a sealing member 50 arranged by separating from one surface rather than the organic EL element 20 on one surface side of the light-transmitting substrate 10, and an inert liquid 90 intervened between the sealing member 50 and the organic EL element 20. The organic EL element 20 has a laminated structure of an anode (first electrode) 22, an organic EL layer 23 containing a light-emitting layer, and a cathode (second electrode) 24, and prepares an uneven structure section 24b for expanding a heat-radiating area on the surface side of the cathode 24 opposite to a light-emitting layer side rather than when the surface is set up to be a plane. |
