PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission which can appropriately increase durability.SOLUTION: The continuously variable transmission includes: a first rotation element 3 and a second rotation element 4; a third rotation element 5 brought into contact with and held between the first rotation element 3 and the second rotation element 4 at a position shifted from a gravity center; a fourth rotation element 6 disposed in contact with the third rotation element 5, relatively rotatable around a rotation center of a first rotation axis X1, and relatively movable in the direction of the first rotation axis X1; a first contact part 12, which can be brought into contact with one end 61 in the direction of the first rotation axis X1 of the fourth rotation element 6, and in which a contact position with the fourth rotation element 6 in the direction of the first rotation axis X1 is changed along with tilting of the third rotation element 5; and a second contact part 13, which can be brought into contact with the other end 62 in the direction of the first rotation axis X1 of the fourth rotation element 6, and the contact position with the fourth rotation element 6 in the direction of the first rotation axis X1 is fixed. |
