PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a para-type aromatic polyamide fiber consisting of a multifilament having a high strength and having a small unevenness in its strength even if the single fiber fineness is large.SOLUTION: This method for producing the para-type whole aromatic polyamide fiber consisting of the multifilament having the large single fiber fineness comprises controlling the width of the fiber bundle on passing through water-washing step, and, setting the heat stretching step of a first step in a specific temperature range and at a stretching magnitude of a specific stretching magnitude or more in a heat-stretching step consisting of multiple steps. |
