In the disclosed method for preventing fuel freezing in a postprocessing burner system, a burner (14) is provided upstream of a particulate filter (12) (exhaust purification member) equipped inside an exhaust pipe; fuel is supplied via a feed pipe (17) to said burner (14) from a fuel tank (16) shared with a diesel engine (1) (engine), and excess fuel is returned to the fuel tank (16) via a return pipe (18). Under conditions in which the outside air temperature during vehicle travel is at or below a prescribed temperature, fuel is regularly circulated between the burner (14) and the fuel tank (16) via the feed pipe (17) and the return pipe (18).
