Disclosed is a solvent for an ink for inkjet recording that has superior adhesion to polyvinyl chloride resin sheets and superior recording head ejection stability and uses a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin produced by suspension polymerization as a binder resin and a method for producing the same. Also disclosed is an inkjet cartridge. Also disclosed is the production of a solution in which a binder resin is dissolved in a solvent to a level where there is no problem with continuous ejection stability in use in an inkjet head and the dissolution is by ultrasound exposure or media dispersion after the solvent and binder resin are mixed. Also disclosed are a superior non-aqueous ink for inkjets formed by adding a pigment and diluting solvent to the solution described above in the ink forming process and an inkjet cartridge that houses the ink.
