An azo pigment composition which exhibits extremely excellent hue and light fastness and excellent tinting strength (color density), preferably, an azo pigment composition which contains an azo pigment having characteristic X-ray diffraction peaks at different diffraction angles or a tautomer thereof. An azo pigment composition, characterized by containing at least one of the azo pigment represented by formula (1) which exhibits characteristic X-ray diffraction peaks at Bragg angles (2θ± 0.2°) of 7.6°, 25.6°, and 27.7° in X-diffraction with characteristic Cu-Kαline, or tautomers thereof.
