PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle network system and a vehicle network controller by which vehicle formation information can be obtained in an optional vehicle while shortening time required for generation of vehicle formation information through the effective use of a band by reducing a burden in network management.SOLUTION: The vehicle network controller includes a first communication means which performs transmission and reception of information with the vehicle network controller of an adjacent vehicle on one end side of each vehicle, a second communication means which performs transmission and reception of information with the vehicle network controller of an adjacent vehicle on the other end side of each vehicle, and a vehicle information acquiring/accumulating means which accumulates its own vehicle information on a vehicle on which itself is loaded and adjacent vehicle information on an adjacent vehicle acquired via the communication means from the vehicle network controller loaded on the adjacent vehicle, as information on a vehicle adjacent to itself. The vehicle network system monitors and controls the terminal device loaded on each vehicle, based on the vehicle information on all vehicles of vehicle formation obtained from the information on the vehicle adjacent to itself. |
