PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus and a program, allowing reading of update information related to update of an application according to information related to operation to the application.SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes: a storage unit storing the update information related to the update of the application; and an update information reading unit reading, when there is the update not applied to the application, the update information stored in the storage unit according to the information related to the operation to the application updated by the update. When there is the update not applied to the application, the update information reading unit reads the update information according to whether or not a function of the application updated by the update is executed at a predetermined frequency or above. |
