PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay capable of aiming at downsizing of a device as a whole and reduction of manufacturing cost, while setting a size of a pressing spring large.SOLUTION: The electromagnetic relay is provided with a coil bobbin 20; an end plate 34 arranged at one end of the coil bobbin 20; a plunger shaft 41 inserted into the end plate 34; a plunger 54 fitted at one end side of the plunger shaft 41; a movable piece 17 fitted to the other end of the plunger shaft 41; a fixed contact 18a for the movable piece 17 to come in and out of contact with on the basis of back-and-forth movement of the plunger shaft 41; and a pressing spring 46 bias pressing force directed toward the fixed contact 18a, in favor of the movable piece 17. A boss part 35 is formed at the end plate 34, being allowed to house an end of the pressing spring 46, and at the same time, a spring pedestal 43 is provided at a position corresponding to the boss part 35 of the plunger shaft 41 enabled to load an end of the pressing spring 46. |
