PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side discriminator that can accurately discriminate one side from the other side with a simple structure, and to provide an optical article measurement apparatus.SOLUTION: The side discriminator includes: a base part 21 on which a setting surface for setting one surface of an optical article 1 is formed; a suction hole that is formed on the base part 21 and part of which is opened on the setting surface; a vacuum pump 24 communicated with the other part of the suction hole; and a discrimination mechanism 25 that sets a threshold based on an internal pressure of both the suction hole when the vacuum pump 24 suctions a depressed portion of the optical article 1 and the suction hole and a tube 22 when the vacuum pump 24 suctions the other surface on which the depressed portion of the optical article 1 is formed, and discriminates the one side from the other side of the optical article 1 depending on whether a detected value exceeds the threshold or not. |
