PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element that is sufficiently improved in external quantum yield.SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence element has a cathode, an anode, and a light emitting layer present between the cathode and the anode, wherein the light emitting layer is composed of a composition including (X) a polymer compound which does not transport an electron and/or a hole and is not luminescent, and (Y) a polymer composition which transports an electron and/or a hole and is luminescent, and (X) the polymer compound which does not transport an electron and/or a hole and is not luminescent has a weight average molecular weight of 1×10to 5×10in terms of standard polystyrene. |
