PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing the increase of the size of an image forming apparatus body, even when an ion generating device is arranged in the image forming apparatus body.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100 includes a paper discharge tray 42, the ion generating device 200, and a rear surface part 60. The paper discharge tray 42 is provided to store paper after an image is formed and fitted into the housing of the image forming apparatus 100, in a plan view. The ion generating device 200 includes a duct 210, an air blowing part 230 and an ion generator 240. In the rear surface part 60, a space for arranging a drive member 320 including a drive gear 321 attached to the drive shaft 310 of a photoreceptor drum 31 to drive the photoreceptor drum 31, on the rear surface side of the image forming apparatus 100 is formed. The ion generating device 200 is arranged in a space which is the space of the rear surface part 60 and on the rear surface side of the paper loading space of the paper discharge tray 42. |
