PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition that has excellent detergency and low-temperature storage stability and does not impair finishing properties of clothing, wherein the detergent composition contains a high-concentration surfactant.SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition comprises (a) 30-75 mass% of a surfactant composed of a nonionic surfactant containing 7-22C hydrocarbon groups or the nonionic surfactant containing 7-22C hydrocarbon groups and an anionic surfactant and/or a cationic surfactant and (b) a compound represented by general formula (1): HO-(CHO)-(AO)-(CHO)-(AO)-(CHO)-H (wherein AO is 3-5C alkyleneoxy; "-" shows that CHO and AO are block-bonded; a, b, c, o and p are each an average addition molar number, b=3-20, c=3-20, a+b+c=5-30, o=1-5, p=1-5 and o+p=2-6) and having a number-average molecular weight of 200-2,000. |
