PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antimicrobial composition imparting sufficient antimicrobial effects to viruses, bacteria, fungi (eumycetes) or the like, hardly causing fatal state even when human beings or pets eat the composition, produceable by an extremely simple and inexpensive production method, and having deodorant effects and aromaticity.SOLUTION: The antimicrobial composition is obtained by adding bittern, or minerals remaining when water is evaporated from seawater, and citric acid to 3-5 wt.% of an acetic acid extract of green tea, black tea, leaf tea of Japan cedar, leaf tea of pine, etc., and at least one kind of antimicrobial plants becoming the raw materials thereof. The antimicrobial composition is an ecologic antimicrobial composition because all of the constituent components of the antimicrobial composition obtained, for example, by extracting the essence of the plant having the antimicrobial activities such as the green leaf of the Japanese ceder with the acetic acid, adding the natural salt and the citric acid thereto, stirring the resultant mixture, and finally solidifying the product by adding a proper amount of a gel or agar so as to be usable even when preserved in a room are obtained from the natural world, and finally returned to the natural world. |
